Some members of ADSC are very much involved in action pistol shooting including IPSC.

This discipline is about competing with handguns, rifles and shotguns in dynamic courses of fire. Safe gun handling is essential with emphasis on accuracy, power and speed, in high-level competitions found around the world.

Different courses of fire (stages); featuring multiple targets, moving, reactive and penalty targets, obstacles and movement are the norm utilizing different shooting positions. They also make viable freestyle competitive strategies and techniques a part of IPSC shooting to keep its athletes challenged and spectators entertained.

Shooting is a gender neutral outdoor/indoor activity and is definitely non discriminating.

Five matches are hosted annually at the Beeton range. Competitors from across Ontario participate.
